Chisel & Iron Company is a woodworking company specializing in custom cabinetry, built-ins, furniture, and more. While the company is just two years old, our founder brings over 27 years of woodworking experience, ensuring every piece reflects craftsmanship, reliability, and attention to detail.
Our Story
Robbie has been building with his hands since childhood — from Legos to shelves for neighbors in his community. After technical training in carpentry and nearly three decades of hands-on woodworking experience, he launched Chisel & Iron Company to bring custom cabinetry, furniture, and built-ins to families and businesses across Middle Georgia. But for Robbie, woodworking is more than a trade — it’s a way to connect with people. Beyond client projects, he leads a woodworking life group at his church, where he teaches both adults and children the basics of working with tools. In one recent session, a 13-year-old learned how to measure, design, and build his very first cabinet. These small introductions to craft and confidence are just as rewarding to Robbie as installing a full kitchen. He’s also put his skills to work for the community — from helping his church design and build a medical cabinet to mentoring new hobbyists who simply want to feel more comfortable around power tools. What sets Robbie apart isn’t just his 27+ years of experience in custom woodworking, but the way he leads with integrity, reliability, and transparency. His passion is making pieces that last — and using his craft to build relationships along the way.

Semi-Custom Cabinets
A smart option for clients who want a balance of budget and customization. With semi-custom, most of the kitchen is built with RTA (ready-to-assemble) cabinets, while standout features like an island, sink base, or vent hood are built fully custom. This gives you the look and function of a custom kitchen at a more accessible price point.
